- Per-condom breakage 0.4% (about 1 in 250) and slippage 1.1% (about 1 in 90) under trial conditions. Six-cycle typical-use 7.0% in a motivated trial cohort covers a shorter window than the 12-month headline and is not used in the uncertainty band; it is not annualized here because trial dropout and selection make a straight extrapolation unreliable.
